If you had to kill your leader to protect your kind, if you knew that you would be hunted and kill because of it, even if no one believed when you had proof...... would you do it?

Fastoon, June 14th, 3001

Lakota Carson walks down the streets one a normal patrol, a patrol that he has walked everyday for 3 years. He's in the Praetorian Guard; to be specific he's a sniper.

Strange Civi: hey guards’ men I got some intel that you might want to hear.

Lakota: okay spill it.

Strange Civi: *hands Lakota a piece of paper* this will tell you everything you need to know. *walks away*
Lakota: um thanks. *reads the letter*

Dear brave Sniper.

Right now we are threatened by a very grave danger, our leader is going to team up with the Karawan nation to take over the galaxy but little does he know that he is going to be double crossed and killed. Our species will be enslaved; our leader needs to be taken out by a sniper. If you accept this task it will be dangerous and you will be hunted down by the Praetorian Guard, if you live you will be counted as a hero, if you don't then you wouldn't have died in vain.

Lakota folds up the paper and puts it in his back pocket and finishes his patrol.

Lakota: well that was strange; I wonder why he gave it to..... *realizes why* It’s because I'm best friends with the secondary leader! *stops* Thunderstripe will never forgive me if I do this but then again this doesn't seem like a joke. I'll look into this more later.

As the sun starts to set over they city Lakota arrives home to his two year old daughter and pregnant wife.

Mariah: Hi Lakota how was your day?

Lakota: it was okay.
Mariah: *smiles* that’s good.

Lakota: *smiles back at her* so how are you?

Mariah: I’m in pain. I think that I might go into labor soon. *feels her belly*

Lakota: *looks at her* our second cub is going to be here soon?

Mariah: yes it is. *yawns*

Lakota: let’s go to bed.  *yawns also*

530 HRS
Lakota wakes to his wife screaming in pain. He feels a wet spot on her bed and realizes what’s going on.

Mariah: Lakota our cub is coming!

Lakota gets up and gets dressed very fast. He grabs Mariah and rushes her to the hover car.

Lakota: hold on Mariah, I’m going to get you to the hospital.


After an hour Mariah gives birth to their cub, it is a healthy male that came out with ease.

Mariah: *licking her new born son* *purring* what should we name him?
Lakota: I don’t know to be honest. *hears his best friend walk into the room*

Thunderstripe: congrats on having a son you two. *walks up and looks at the cub* have you thought of a name yet?

Lakota: *sighs* no not yet.

Thunderstripe: how about Dakota?

Mariah: that’s…….. That’s perfect! *hers her son mew*

Lakota: * smiles* Dakota it is then. Travis can I talk to you outside?

Thunderstripe: I told you not to use my civilian name anymore and sure.


Lakota gets and walks outside, to his surprise Thunderstripe asks him to guard him during a meeting two months from now. Lakota accepts and tells Thunderstripe about the note.

Thunderstripe: that’s just rubbish Lakota. Ignore it.

Lakota: are you sure?

Thunderstripe: I’m sure of it. If he was actually doing that then I would know.

Lakota: yeah that is true. So what do we do now?

Thunderstripe: I got to get back and you got to get back to Mariah and your new born son. *smiles*

Lakota: yeah I guess I do. Well see you soon.

Thunderstripe: yeah you too Lakota.

Lakota goes back in to his family, having the note off his mind he is relaxed and glad that he has a son now. Having no clue about what will happen in the future………………………………………………………………………………………………….
